These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the A1 Motortech website and the vehicle repair and servicing services provided by A1 MOTORTECH LIMITED ("A1 Motortech", "we", "us" or "our").

By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our Services

A1 Motortech provides vehicle repair, servicing and maintenance services from our workshop at Unit 8, Metro Centre, Ronsons Way, St Albans, AL4 9QT. Our services include but are not limited to vehicle servicing, brake repairs, tyre fitting, diagnostics, electrical repairs, coding and programming, ECU remapping, DPF/EGR/AdBlue repairs, tracker and immobiliser fitting, ADAS calibration and air conditioning servicing.

All service descriptions on our website are provided for general information only. The specific scope of work will be agreed with you before any work commences.

3. Bookings and Estimates

• All bookings can be made by telephone or via our online enquiry form.
• Estimates provided before inspection are indicative only. Final costs may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle and the actual work required.
• We will always advise you of the cost and scope of work before proceeding and will not carry out any additional work without your explicit approval.
• We reserve the right to decline a booking or refuse to carry out work at our discretion.

4. Your Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information about your vehicle and any known faults when booking or enquiring.
• You must ensure you have the legal authority to authorise repair work on the vehicle (i.e. you are the owner or have the owner's permission).
• You must collect your vehicle within an agreed timescale after completion of work. We reserve the right to charge a storage fee for vehicles left on our premises beyond the agreed collection date.
• Payment is due on collection of the vehicle unless a credit arrangement has been agreed in writing in advance.

5. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are quoted inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
• We accept payment by cash, debit card and bank transfer. Credit card payments may be subject to a transaction fee.
• We reserve the right to retain a vehicle until full payment has been received for all work carried out.
• Any replaced parts remain our property until full payment is received unless otherwise agreed.

6. Warranty on Repairs

We provide a warranty on parts and labour for work carried out at our workshop. The warranty period varies depending on the type of work and parts used. Please ask for details specific to your repair at the time of booking.

Warranty claims must be reported to us promptly. Warranty coverage does not apply where damage has been caused by accident, misuse, neglect or further unauthorised modifications after our work was completed.

7. Liability

We will take reasonable care of your vehicle while it is on our premises. We carry appropriate garage liability insurance. However, our liability for loss or damage to vehicles or property on our premises is limited to the extent permitted by law.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from work carried out or not carried out on your vehicle, beyond what is required under applicable UK consumer law.

8. Website Use

The content on this website is provided for general information about A1 Motortech and our services. Whilst we endeavour to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no warranties as to the completeness or accuracy of the content.

You must not use our website in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with any other user's use of the website.
